Co-founders Andrew and Bonnie Periale have worked together as "Perry Alley Theatre" for over 20 years. They have had diverse training in theatre, puppetry, dance, music and design. They regularly collaborate with other artists. As advocates
for the art of puppetry, they produce our nation's only magazine devoted to international puppetry, Puppetry International.
PERRY ALLEY THEATRE has become well-known for its zany originality and technical skills. Nominated for an Emmy (as well as being finalists at the International Festival of Film and Television), they are still best known for their live performances, having performed at the Smithsonian Institution, at Atlanta's Center for Puppetry Arts, and at regional and national puppetry festivals both here and abroad.
