Andrew Periale is perhaps best known as co-founder of the Emmy-nominated
Perry Alley Theatre. Aside from writing plays, though, he is the
founding editor of Puppetry International Magazine, and has just
released a CD of humorous, original songs on the Big Round Records
label.
Periale is a regular at poetry hoots and open mic nights. His frequent
triumphs at Robert Burns poetry competitions has given him one of the
finest collection of single malt scotches in New Hampshire. This is the
first time anyone has ever asked him to read more than one poem at a
single event and he warns us: "I'm an actor, so this is not going to be
a dull or stodgy affair-- anything could happen!"
